John responded to our call IMMEDIATELY during the aftermath of the storm which had damaged our service mast when a tree fell onto our power cable. He came within hours to assess the damage & advise us of the repairs needed. As soon as Hydro Ottawa disconnected the power cable, John came with his crew & completed the work quickly & then liaised with Hydro Ottawa immediately. Because John has preauthorization status, his work was quickly approved by Hydro & now we are ready to have our power cable re-connected. Great professional service & such a nice, calm personality. We highly recommend his company, Apex!
We were having some electrical issues which included no lights, fridge or stove and certain outlets. Hard reset lasted 2 days. Called Apex this morning and within 2 hours of the call and 5 min of tinkering turned out to be a Hydro Ottawa voltage issue. So happy with the service we received today. Will definitely keep this number on hand.
Pero did a wonderful job converting my main floor and kitchen with Potlights. The service was smooth and seamless and the results were amazing! Would highly recommend him to anyone needing an electrician.
As new homeowners, we needed to upgrade our electrical panel. We called John and he walked us through the process and set everything up for us, including contacting Hydro Ottawa. The day of, John noticed some emergency repairs needed to be done before replacing the panel and he took care of all of that. I had Pero come over to install my hot tub. Top notch service and even went out of his way to come to my cottage an hour away.The best part was, he didn't even want to charge me for driving that far.Great guy and my go to for all my electrical needs. If i can give him more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommended.

I highly and unequivocally recommend John Rogic of APEX Electric and Controls LTD if you need an electrician! We lost power in one half of the house including the air conditioner late on a very hot Friday afternoon in early August 2021. Our regular electrician was away and we started looking for a company who could provide quick service. Many companies in the Ottawa area advertise 24 hour service but can really only provide you with an appointment for sometime later, and if it happens to be a weekend, that means the next week! I did not know nor had I heard of APEX Electric and Controls but decided to give them a try. John answered the phone on the second ring and after I explained the issue, he was incredibly responsive as approximately 20 minutes later he was at the door. He quickly assessed the situation, identified the problem and was able to rectify it on the spot. He was personable, knowledgeable and professional. He patiently explained what he was finding and doing at all times. I would not hesitate for a second to call him again when in need of an electrician.
We had Pero come out to instal a light off our back door and replace a ceiling fixture with 2 pot lights. He responded to my inquiry very quickly and arranged a time to come take a look. He walked me through what he was going to do, explaining everything clearly, then came back and did it. While he was there I asked him about adding a socket for a wall mounted TV. We took a couple of days to figure out TV placement but once we figured it out we called Pero and he came back and added the plug for us.I'm sure as we grow into our new home we'll be calling him back for more projects and if any of my friends ever need an electrician I will absolutely be recommending Pero.
We had Pero connect our new pool heater and install a brand new lighting setup in my husbands garage. He was extremely clean, friendly and very well priced. I would highly recommend!
We needed some electrical work done in our condo ( installation of some baseboard heaters / installation of a fan / input on other electrical questions / coordinating with another contractor regarding installation of a Ductless AC system . John was very professional , approachable , punctual , return all of our calls / text in a timely fashion. Always took the time to answer any questions we had ( we never felt rushed when speaking to him ) His rates / contract were very clear ( no surprises ) We were very satisfied with his work . We appreciated that he touched base with us a few days after completion to make sure everything was to our satisfaction . We will definitely do business with him in the future if needed. John arrived quickly to help me with my power outage. He was extremely helpful and non-judgmental even when I realized it was my fault for not knowing how to properly switch fuses back on. He offered a few options for a solution going forward. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team at Apex for any electrical needs.
This company provided a fantastic service for our home, changing multiple light fixtures, installing outlets and rewiring some outlets. John, the electrician on duty, worked diligently and respectfully. He was very professional and provided work that was expertly done. I would 10/10 recommend.

Apex Electric and Controls LTD. does a fantastic job from planning to implementation. They provided expert advice on how to redo my attic, rewired the whole area and couldn't be happier. Prior to the attic, they have done additional work including potlights, light fixtures, new baseboard heaters etc. Couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. Thank you!
Upgraded outdoor lights for building to LED with timer to account for sunrise and sunset. They recommended great products and installed in a professional and timely matter.
